MZ modulator arbitrary point bias controller

The MBC-MZM bias voltage controller from Plugtech is a high-performance automatic bias voltage controller specifically designed for MZ intensity modulators. Its principle involves injecting a dither signal into the modulator, continuously analyzing the modulator's working state, and adjusting the output DC bias voltage to compensate for modulator working point drift caused by external environmental changes. Thanks to the excellent control algorithm design, users can easily lock the modulator at common working points like Peak, Null, and Quad through simple operations, allowing the modulator to maintain good working conditions over extended periods. Additionally, users can set any working point to meet various application needs.
The MBC-MZM controller supports serial communication. Users can switch the controller's working mode (automatic/manual), customize the output voltage, adjust the dither signal amplitude, read system working parameters, and set special working points via GUI software or by sending standard commands.
